About Becky
Hey! I'm a student at a Russell Group university who is about to finish her 2nd year. Throughout this year, I have achieved a first in all but one assignment (I got a high 2:1 in that one). I love my subject, and would absolutely LOVE to help you feel the same way. If you're doing Sociology at any level, I can help you!
Now, more than ever, is a great time to improve your understanding of the social world, and see what the people that started the discipline had to say. Most of their observations hold true in today's context - you'll be surprised!

I believe in:
• researching what we don't know together, to improve these skills.
• gaining a full and robust knowledge of every area within the topic, but...
• grounding our sociological exploration in the topics that excite you and that you excell at - for instance, if you can see a lot of truth in Marx's theories, we can look at a Marxist interpetation of many other phenomena, and a Marxist critique of many other theories. This will help you to relate new knowledge back to what you already know.
• making sure we 'get' the importance and revelance of what we're learning.
• having fun! :)
