About Idara
Hi, I'm Idara!
I believe every student is capable of learning and understanding new things with the right guidance and support. Everyone learns differently, so I aim to adapt my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs, strengths and pace.
My approach is to break down even the most complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, using relatable examples and techniques that help students remember what they've learnt. I want to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and making progress at their own pace.
My goal is not just to help students understand a subject, but to help them develop the confidence and skills to tackle challenges independently.

My teaching approach is centred around each student's individual learning style, strengths and areas for improvement. I adapt my lessons to suit the way each student learns best, breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and using practical examples to make difficult concepts easier to understand and remember.
Lessons typically last between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the student's needs and goals. I aim to make every session interactive and engaging, encouraging students to ask questions, practise what they've learnt and build confidence in their abilities.
I am a first-class engineering graduate with over 6 years of professional experience as a software engineer and over 9 years of tutoring experience. This combination allows me to explain concepts clearly, draw on real-world experience where relevant and help students develop both their understanding and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-level and university students. Whether you're looking to strengthen your understanding of a subject, prepare for exams or tackle challenging topics, I'll work with you to create a learning approach that suits your needs and helps you achieve your goals.
