About Deidra
My name is Deidra and I'm a first year student at the University of Aberdeen. I would like to say that I am a friendly and approachable individual, given my experience as a Volleyball Coach at my school in which I took on responsibility for training 120+ pupils across all the year groups. In this role, I was also able to develop my communication skills and confidence in speaking to new people. In S5 I attained Grade A in Higher Chemistry, and also undertook Advanced Higher Chemistry in S6. That being said, it was certainly a challenge, so by tutoring others in this subject, I am able to help make the course just that little bit easier and simpler to understand, which I know the importance of and the difference it can make to an individual.

I tutor weekly, for 1-hour sessions but can be flexible with the number of sessions and the length of each one. Each week we tackle a specific topic and then use past paper questions to consolidate the pupil's knowledge in that area, and answer any questions they have throughout the session. My lessons are intended for those who are studying National 4/5 and Higher Chemistry

Perfect! Deidra was reliable, understanding, patient, knowledgeable and well organized. All of which helped turn around my daughter's struggle in Nat5 chemistry into achieving an A in the exam. Thanks a lot Deidra.
Perfect! Deidra is caring and knowledgable and connects with a student with ease. She is not only able to explain areas of concern but also follows up with helpful examples and other resources that may assist with learning. Fantastic tutor!

I reached out to Deirdre to help my young daughter gain confidence in her maths work and we have seen a huge difference in her work and grades. Deirdre's not only a great tutor, but great with young people and makes them feel totally at ease. I'd recommend 100%!
