About Kumara
Hi, I'm Kumara. I recently completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training and have been drawn to using yoga as a way to support both physical and mental well-being.
Through my own journey, I've experienced how slowing down, breathing, and moving with intention can help ease tension, regulate the nervous system, and bring you back into your body. I understand what it feels like to carry stress from work or daily life, to feel the effects of sitting for long periods, or to have days where getting up and moving feels heavy - whether from physical discomfort from chronic pain or mental exhaustion.
It's something I continue to explore myself, and I hope to support others in doing the same, learning to listen to their bodies, move with what they feel, and find ways to work with the heaviness rather than against it.
I'm still growing into my teaching, which allows me to be very present, attentive, and open-minded with each person I work with.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Heal Me Yoga, where the focus was on using yoga as a healing tool for both body and mind.
My classes are simple and supportive, and adapted to meet you where you are.
