About Madelyn
As a mechanical engineering student, I have been a peer tutor at my University for the past 3 semesters and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the past 5 semesters. I have experience in Matlab programming as well as calculus, physics, electrical science, statics, and mechanics to name a few. I graduated in 2023 with summa cum laude and minors in mathematics and electrical engineering.

I make sure what I am teaching is applicable to the lessons that the student is learning in class. In my experience as a tutor, I have been able to both assist my students with homework as well as help practice example problems. I have mostly tutored upper level engineering courses, so it is harder to come up with my own example problems, but in middle and high school level courses, or introductory college courses I will be able to apply my experience and knowledge learned throughout my education to help the student connect with the material and real world applications. I understand that everyone has a different learning style, and I strive to adapt my lessons to the individual student.
I am able to tutor middle school and high school math, such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. I am also able to tutor high school and college physics and undergraduate strengths and mechanics courses.
