About Lubaba
Hi I'm Bushra, an aspiring biomedical engineer! I enjoy research, classical literature, and political journalism (so you just know I'm good at essay construction and argument analysis). I've always been a higher achiever since the beginning of my education, with a special interest in sciences and languages! Coming from a multicultural background, I grew up learning Japanese, French, Bangla, and Urdu—so naturally I had also become immersed in the wonders of English. Over time, I found myself gravitating towards the subject, as I had discovered that English had strengthened and enriched my critical reasoning and analytical thinking skills. My endless pursuit of knowledge has equally driven my passion for teaching—to be able to share my wisdom, past experiences, and tried and true tips and tricks that have helped me grow academically! If you're on the lookout for someone who can simplify English learning as much as possible, can provide targeted feedback, and challenge students to reach their full potential—I might just be the perfect tutor for you! :D

I offer one-on-one personalized and in-depth lessons tailored to each student's unique study goals and learning style! My goal is to make English learning more comprehensive and less stressful for all students from years 7 to year 12. Tutoring sessions will range from 1 hour for younger years (7-9) to a maximum of 2 hours from years 10-12 depending on individual student workload, goals, and preferences for areas of focus. Learning with me will be engaging, focused, and enjoyable as I will bring my own personal experiences with tried and true tips and tricks to get the best possible scores! I understand how mentally exhausting and competitive school environments can become as students progress to higher levels, as such I am driven to not only be an academic mentor—but also support students' emotional resilience and mental well-being. I have previously tutored my peers informally throughout secondary school, receiving positive feedback on my tutoring abilities regarding clarity, dedication, and passion towards the subjects I have taught.
Resources would include:
-Essay marking outside of sessions
-Detailed study notes for each area of study in Units 3&4
-Access to high scoring responses
