About Devon

Hi, my name is Devon!

I graduated with a B.Sc in Financial Mathematics & Economics (Honours) from the University of Ottawa in December 2022. Currently, I work full-time in industry and tutor part-time on evenings and weekends.

I have over 6 years of experience tutoring math and stats (from Grade 6 to First-year University courses). I am perfectly bilingual in French and English and possess great communication skills. I am able to explain difficult concepts in a simple and understandable way.

Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions! I will answer best via email or text.

About the lesson

I like to teach math with a "ground-up" approach. In other words, I ensure that my student does not lack understanding in any preceeding concepts in math which would be crucial in understanding their new material.

I have kept some of my own high-school tests and notes which I am willing to share to my students to better prepare them for their tests/exams.

Review

Perfect! Great tutor. He takes the time to go over things again if you dont understand it and it dosen't feel like a waste of time. He went over a whole stats lesson with me that I was completely lost about and now it makes sense. He speaks French too :)
