About Grete Mae
I’m a 20-year-old university student who is naturally bubbly, friendly, and loves working with people. I’ve always been passionate about academics and have consistently strived to do my best. I’ve also always enjoyed helping others understand concepts and seeing that “aha!” moment when something finally clicks.
I decided to start tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping people, I’m passionate about learning, and I’m looking for a little side hustle while doing something I actually enjoy.

I’m a second-year BCom Accounting Sciences student at the University of Pretoria, and I know that sometimes a subject only starts making sense when it’s explained in a way that works for you. I finished first among all first-years in Asterhof and placed second in the residence’s Top 10, and matriculated with 7 distinctions. I want my lessons to feel less like another class and more like having someone who can break things down, explain the “why”, and help you actually feel confident with the work. I tutor both high school and university students, online or on the UP campus.
