About Emma
Hello, I’m Emma! I am a second year Classics student at the University of Manchester, having done my A Levels in 2022.
As a student myself, I have experienced firsthand the pressures of secondary school and the difficulties of studying Latin and Greek. I have worked hard to find ways to navigate both of these and believe I can impart some of my wisdom to you/ I have experience working in a teaching environment, and I hope to be able to take you beyond passing your exams and inspire genuine passion for the subject!
Outside of my studies, I love musical theatre, Taylor Swift and coffee dates with friends :)

The student is 100% the centre of my tutoring approach. As a result, in the first session (free of charge), we will get to know each other and I can find out about your goals and any current obstacles you are facing. I’ll take it from there!
I can help with any aspect of learning, whether it be explaining difficult grammar concepts and putting them into practice, working on strategies for learning vocabulary or understanding and analysing a set text. I have firsthand experience of overcoming these hurdles and so am well-equipped to help you do the same :)
