About Alexis
As a student myself, I understand the pressure of exams, difficult assignments, and feeling stuck on a concept that seems impossible at first. I know how much of a difference it can make when someone takes the time to explain it in a way that finally makes sense.
I take every lesson seriously and come prepared to help students make real progress. Whether you are trying to improve your grades, catch up on a difficult subject, or prepare for an important exam, you can expect a focused and professional learning environment.
My goal is for students to leave each lesson feeling that they understand something they didn’t understand before — and, most importantly, feeling more confident in their own ability to solve problems.

Hi, I’m Alexis! My goal as a tutor is to make Mathematics and Physics easier to understand rather than simply asking students to memorize formulas or methods.
I adapt my explanations to each student’s level and focus on understanding the reasoning behind each concept. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and exercises to help students gradually become more confident and independent.
A typical lesson starts by reviewing the topic and identifying any difficulties the student has. We then go through the concepts that need clarification, work through examples together, and finish with exercises that the student attempts independently. I also make sure to leave time for questions and to review anything that remains unclear.
What sets me apart is my strong academic background combined with my experience helping classmates throughout school. I achieved 19/20 in both Mathematics Speciality and Advanced Mathematics in the French Baccalauréat and am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at EPFL, giving me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, and related quantitative subjects.
My lessons are suitable for middle-school, high-school, and university students, particularly those following the French curriculum or studying Mathematics and Physics as part of their university degree. I can help with regular coursework, difficult topics, exercises, assignments, and exam preparation. Lessons are available in English or French.
