About JR
I have taught kids and adults to bookings on television and film. I have also trained people for Broadway careers in the theater. One of my many strengths is getting kids and young adults ready to audition for schools for the performing arts, and college prep to audtion in the theater. I am a working actor myself, and know what it takes to make it in this industry. I have been on Broadway in many musicals, and have worked on television. I went to The Boston Conservatory where I trained in acting. My passion for teaching and watching my students succeed is what drives me as a teacher. My work helps the student find the "truth" in there acting, using many different techniques to figure out what works for the students personal journey. I have taught beginners and advanced level students to give that extra polish. I love what I do, and very excited to give my expertise to the world!
I love the arts, and there is nothing else I want to do! I want to give this love to many who dream of it.. Hard work, loving acting, can get you far, but add passion to this combo, and watch dreams come true.
