About

Dear Coach King,

Congratulations on completing the requirements to obtain a USA Basketball Gold Coach License for the 2023-2024 season! Thank you for joining our coaching community and committing to creating safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate environments for youth participants, while inspiring them to reach their potential through basketball.

We encourage you to share this accomplishment on social media and to follow us at @usabyouth and @usabasketball to stay up to date with USA Basketball news and events.

Licensed coaches have access to a variety of resources within their account at (concealed information) , including more than 400 X’s and O’s speaker series videos, general liability coaching insurance and a listing on the USA Basketball Coach Look Up page if accounts are set to public view. In addition to teaching the game of basketball, coaches have a responsibility to provide positive experiences for youth by emphasizing safety on and off the court. To help make safety a priority, please view the attached flyer from the U.S. Center for SafeSport regarding Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP). MAAPP policies help keep children and adult participants safe in various scenarios that occur in sport. Should you ever need to report concerns involving abuse, misconduct or violations of the MAAPP, please do so at: Report an Incident - USA Basketball

USA Basketball is excited to welcome you into our coaching community, and we thank you for your commitment to youth development!

Please contact (concealed information) with any questions or issues.

Sincerely,

Jay Demings

Youth & Sport Development Director
