About Kate
Hi! My name is Kate and I am a English and Drama undergraduate student in Trinity College Dublin. I received 625 points in my Leaving Cert in 2022 so I am very familiar with the coursework and how to achieve in the exams. I have a huge passion for English and hope to one day teach the subject in schools myself. I am passionate about helping students learn to love English!

After receiving 625 points in my leaving Cert, I am passionate about teaching students how to achieve in their English exams by teaching 1 hour lessons covering both paper 1 and paper 2 topics such as poetry, comparative literature, shakespeare, reading comprehensions and creative writing. I will tailor the lessons to what you find challenging in the course and will try to make learning easier for you. I will try different methods that I found helpful during my Leaving Cert studies, and what my past students have found helpful. We will work together to make learning enjoyable and not so scary, as I know Leaving Cert English is one of the more challenging subjects. My first lesson is free and will give us an opportunity to discuss how English is for you and how you would like to proceed with lessons.
