About Senan
I achieved a 99th percentile score in the 2026 HPAT and am hoping to begin studying Medicine at UCC this year. Having gone through the process very recently, I understand the challenge of balancing HPAT preparation with the Leaving Cert. I aim to make preparation clear, focused and efficient, sharing the strategies, practice methods and exam techniques that helped me perform consistently at a high level.

My approach to HPAT tutoring is structured, practical and tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
I scored in the 99th percentile in HPAT 2026 and consistently achieved above the 95th percentile in MedEntry practice exams, giving me very recent experience of both the exam itself and the preparation required.
Each 60-minute lesson will focus on improving accuracy, speed and exam technique. Sessions can include:
• Strategies for Sections 1, 2 and 3
• Breaking down difficult question types step by step
• Timing techniques and working efficiently under pressure
• Identifying recurring mistakes and weaker areas
• Guided question practice and analysis of reasoning
• Review of mock exams and practice performance
• Advice on structuring HPAT preparation between lessons
I aim to teach students how to approach questions independently rather than simply working through answers. Lessons will be adapted to the individual, whether that means focusing heavily on one weak section or improving performance across the full exam.
Lessons are aimed at Leaving Cert students preparing for the HPAT, from those beginning their preparation to students already completing mocks and aiming to push their score higher.
