About Craig
I have worked in Finance since 1997. I started as a filing clerk where I had no desk and literally had to sit on the floor of a finance office, surrounded by invoices and statements and work out some sort of system.
From this, I have covered many aspects of accounting and finance, working for PLC's, Private Equity and Public Sector. I have worked my way up to CFO and have now held a CFO position for 7 years.
I know from experience and have learnt the hard way, but this has led me to have a very practical and good grip on the mechanical process of accounting.
I am a light-hearted person, so hopefully the sessions will reflect this.

My approach is to understand exactly where you are at with your AAT studies and support you by focusing primarily on question and answer papers and examples.
From experience I know that question practice is much more valuable than reading study texts.
I hope in the session, of 60 mins, that we can work through a pre-planned example (from me/text) and then I will ask you to complete another example before the next lesson - this will then form the start of the next lesson.
We will take time to understand core concepts before trying questions, as and when necessary.
I will be available 24/7, work and family permitting, so if you are ever stuck out of lesson then I will be fine with you dropping me a message. Craig
