About Amber
Hi! I’m Amber, a university student in Monash with an ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Certificate and around 2 years of part-time piano teaching experience in Malaysia. I’m a patient and friendly tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and develop an interest in playing the piano. I mainly teach beginners, adult learners, and students up to Grade 5. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level and goals, whether you’re learning for fun, improving your skills, or preparing for an exam. I’m happy to support you throughout your piano journey and make learning enjoyable!

Qualifications: ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Certificate
Experience: Around 2 years of part-time piano teaching experience
Who I teach: Beginners, adult learners, and students up to Grade 5
Teaching approach: Patient, friendly, and adapted to each student’s level and goals
What I teach: Piano basics, music reading, rhythm, technique, music theory, and playing pieces
Practice support: Help students practise difficult sections, improve technique, and build confidence
For beginners: Focus on building a strong foundation and making learning piano enjoyable
Lesson length: 45 minutes per lesson
Equipment: Keyboard available for lessons
