Ben is one of our best Maths tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Ben

I am a 24-year-old ACA-qualified accountant with over two years of professional experience at KPMG. I hold a Master's in Accounting from DCU, where I achieved top grades across both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. At Leaving Cert level, I received H1s in both Accounting and Maths.

With approximately seven years of tutoring experience, I have worked with a wide range of students at second and third level — from those who are struggling and need to build confidence from the ground up, to high achievers pushing for top grades. I offer my own H1 notes to students as part of my lessons.

As a young tutor, I pride myself on being approachable, patient, and easy to talk to. I create a relaxed and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Alongside my professional qualifications, I bring a genuine passion for the subjects I teach and a strong understanding of what the exams actually require.

I offer a high-quality, personalised service at a more affordable rate than most tutors. Get in touch today to start seeing real results!

About the lesson

I offer personalised grinds for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students in Accounting, Maths and Business, as well as college-level tutoring in accounting modules.

My students have consistently achieved significant improvements, with some recent results from the 25/26 academic year seen below (proof available on request):

Student 1: H4 at Christmas, H3 in mocks → H1 in Leaving Cert
Student 2: Failing at Christmas, H6 in mocks → H3 in Leaving Cert
Student 3: H6 at Christmas, H4 in mocks → H1 in Leaving Cert
Student 4: Failed college accounting summer exam → 1.1 in August re-sit

My combination of professional accounting qualifications, seven years of tutoring experience, and genuine dedication to every student means I can help regardless of where you are starting from — whether the goal is simply to pass or to achieve a top grade.

Ben gave me accounting lessons throughout my final year of college. I had always struggled with accounting and had failed a number of smaller class tests before reaching out to him. With Ben’s help, my two accounting modules ended up being my strongest results, and I achieved top grades in both.

I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is an extremely intelligent, friendly, and patient tutor who explains concepts clearly and takes the time to make sure you truly understand the material. If you need help with accounting, I would strongly recommend getting in touch with Ben.

Ben is an incredible Accounting teacher! I started lessons at the start of 6th year after failing my 5th-year summer exam. Thanks to his clear and focused teaching, I went from struggling to eventually achieving a H1 in Leaving Cert Accounting. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

Ben gave my daughter Junior Cert Maths Grinds and I would highly recommend him. He was friendly, approachable and made my daughter feel at ease. He was also very professional in explaining the issues she was having difficulty with. He was also very thorough in preparation for each session so overall it was a very good experience and very helpful to my daughter.
