I am an academic advisor and learning strategist with over 13 years of experience supporting students across a wide range of ages, abilities, and learning needs.
My background is in education, and I earned my degree from Florida International University. Over time, my work has evolved beyond traditional classroom teaching into academic advisory support, where I focus on helping families build clear, effective learning plans that lead to measurable progress.
I specialize in identifying gaps, aligning instruction to grade-level expectations, and creating structure for students who need more than a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to help them gain confidence, mastery, and long-term academic direction.

ABOUT THE SESSION
Sessions are structured as academic advisory support, not traditional tutoring. My role is to guide learning through strategic planning, targeted skill development, and ongoing review rather than delivering rote instruction.
I work especially well with students who:
• Need additional structure or personalized pacing
• Are struggling to gain traction in traditional academic settings
• Require support closing gaps and reaching grade-level expectations
• Benefit from a calm, thoughtful, and organized learning environment
Support may include targeted academic guidance, skill reinforcement, planning support, and follow-up review to ensure progress continues beyond live session time.

Honestly, words are not enough to describe what Nikki aka Ms. Crutchfield has done for my family. Our son started struggling in 2nd grade in Math in Renaissance Charter School, and the school recommend a Poke Mon Class for the kids to engage with her and have fun while learning. It was instantly a win-win for all. Ms. Crutchfield is a teacher and mom, but also pours her heart and soul into bonding and making learning fun with the kids. Our son is currently in 5th grade, almost heading to 6th and he has been having "fun learning" sessions with Ms. Crutchfield ever Wednesday. He always says she's my favorite teacher, loves going, she makes learning so easy and fun. And, also most importantly our son has excelled in all of his FAST/NWEA quarterly testing and improved overall grades. I can't say enough. One last thing, extra bonus, she offers our son fun healthy snacks during tutoring and has even got him to eat strawberries!!! :) :) :) Thank you Ms. Crutchfield always, for everything you have done for our Gabriel :)
