About Alex
I am a dedicated educator and Master of Global Studies candidate at RMIT University, holding an academic background in International Relations and public policy. Having achieved a top-tier score of 90/90 in PTE Academic (Expert Proficiency) and served as a university research assistant, I bring rigorous standards, analytical precision, and clear communication to every student interaction. My professional background spans academic source verification, public speaking, and community facilitation. I pride myself on maintaining an organized, empathetic, and structured teaching environment where students feel supported to ask questions and build genuine confidence in their skills. Whether preparing for VCE humanities or university-level essay writing, you can expect a reliable, highly professional, and outcome-focused approach to your learning.

My tutoring focuses on clarity, structure, and critical analysis. Rather than simply editing work, I teach students how to dissect complex assignment prompts, construct persuasive essay outlines, and master academic referencing. We break down writing into clear, manageable steps—focusing on argument flow, evidence selection, and concise prose. Standard lessons run for 60 minutes (with 90-minute options available for intensive essay preparation). Each session begins with a targeted goal review, followed by interactive problem-solving or essay planning, and ends with actionable practice strategies.
As an RMIT Master of Global Studies candidate with a 90/90 PTE Academic score and experience as a university research assistant, I bring strong academic writing, source analysis, and research skills to every session.
