About Chun ki
Hi, I'm Chun. I am currently in my final year studying Computer Science at Imperial College London. I took 6 subjects for my A-level, and I achieved 2 A*s and 4 As at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Triple Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Chinese, I would love to teach in any of these areas.
I have been tutoring for 5 years, and I was an Academic Scholar and the Vice Head Perfect at high school, I love helping my peers and junior when they have problems with their school work. Aside, I am also the co-founder and director of Path Education Limited. My company provides a 360 - University application support and has helped numerous students to get into their desired University. Additionally, I have completed ABRSM Diploma in Piano, grade 8 in Vocal and Oboe and have some experiences teaching these instruments at beginner and intermediate levels.
With maths and science subjects I believe it is extremely important to have a teacher who can enable their pupil to relate to the subject and provide clear explanations set at the right pace. In my lessons, I often use techniques such as holding interesting and memorable discussions with my pupils while bringing in real-world examples to help them understand, remember and see the relevance in each topic.
I also think that a positive attitude, encouragement and an understanding of the pupil's learning style is key to engaging them with the subject and generating natural interest and understanding. I have found that this approach helps pupils quickly build confidence, improve motivation, grasp concepts, and to realise their potential - all key to exam success.
As a Native Chinese speaker, I offer Mandarin lessons. Mandarin is the most useful form of Chinese to learn for those wanting to travel or do business in China. As the main language used in official contexts, in the media and in education, nearly everyone in China has exposure to Mandarin and can read, speak and understand it. So, if you want to learn, I will definitely help you out!

Terrence has been able to help me with things that I do not understand and explains them many times until I do. Very patient and very clear in his explanations, so now, I understand the work I did not understand in class.
Chun is an absolutely brilliant teacher. He taught my son new ways of thinking and methods of solving mathematical problems which make Maths very easy to learn. He is just amazing !
My daughter was tutored by Chun in preparation for her A-Level Mathematics exam. She received regular tuition sessions, and Chun was super flexible, he was able to do 4.5 hours a week without a problem. He made Maths very easy, simple and understandable compared to all the other tutors that she have had. In addition, he set her extra homework aside from the work that she was doing at school which was slightly harder than A- level, to really challenge her and develop her understanding of the topic. Besides, Chun was very punctual and committed to the sessions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help in Maths!
