About Rachel
I am part-qualified CIMA Management Accountant with a Bsc Hons degree in Accounting and Finance (1st) and over 3 years of experience working in the Public Sector.
Oftentimes when studying for accounting, core topics can be presented in an over-complicated manner, with little focus on exam technique and real world applicability. My aim is to help you better understand core topics through real world examples and hone exam technique, in a relaxed collaborative learning environment.
Having recently completed my CIMA MCS case study, I specialise in tutoring CIMA students (Certificate/Operational/ Management) but have strong practical and technical knowledge that can be applied to GCSE, A-level, AAT, and undergraduate students alike.

In your first free session, we will take some time to get to know each other, where we will have an informal discussion on your current level of study, your learning style and your goals. We will identify core topics to work through together and develop a plan for future sessions.
Sessions will be a structured work through of your core topics, using practical examples to solidify understanding and completing practice questions/past paper questions to build your technique and boost your confidence, giving you all my useful tips and tricks along the way! We will regularly review your progress towards your goals to make sure you are on track.
