About Sala
I am a musician and music educator with over 25 years of experience in the music industry. My main instrument is drums, and I’ve spent many years performing with different bands, working with musicians across a wide range of styles, and developing a strong understanding of music, rhythm, and theory.
Alongside my performing career, I’ve been playing and teaching guitar for many years, working with students of different ages and abilities in primary schools, music schools, and private lessons.
I really enjoy sharing my music knowledge and helping students discover the joy of playing an instrument. My teaching approach is relaxed, patient, and flexible, and I always try to make lessons enjoyable while helping students build confidence and develop their music skills at their own pace.

My guitar lessons are tailored to each student's level, interests, and music goals, whether they are complete beginners or have some playing experience.
I usually use a structured guitar method book and teach both standard music notation and tablature (TAB), depending on what each student feels most comfortable with.
We also work on chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, and chord changes for students who enjoy learning their favorite songs. I incorporate popular music into the lessons, helping them develop the skills to play and sing along with the songs they love.
My aim is to make learning guitar enjoyable, practical, and rewarding, while helping each student progress at their own pace.
