About Monia
I am a professional actor and teacher, working in Secondary schools since 2010. What I love most about teaching is finding the right fit for the student, as everybody learns differently. I love combining coaching with teaching, making sure that my students gain positive outcomes from my sessions. I want my students to leave with specific takeaways, knowing that they have achieved a goal. Learning goals: Drama school prep, monologue prep, help with scene work, GCSE prep, LAMDA exams, representation search, self-tapes, interview prep, audition technique. My drama school training: Rose Bruford, Acting

She is very good with interacting with the kids aged 4-7 that she taught, making sure they were engaged and entertained throughout the whole lesson.Overall making them enjoy the art of drama!
Working with Monia has been nothing short of wonderful! Hard-working and knowledgeable, she has helped me more than once to navigate difficult or important life-choices. Her calm and collected nature, paired with her passion and empathy make her an invaluable mentor and colleague.
As her colleague trained at drama school together, I’m confident to say Monia is a talented performer, a wonderful receiver who genuinely listens and takes others’ energies. She’s also an amazing teacher. When I started teaching, she helped me to understand — being a teacher doesn’t mean I have to be perfect but mean I have something that’s worth learning.
