About Tom
Im an East 15 acting graduate with 10+ years in the business. Theatre credits include: The Pleasance, Omnibus, Southwark Playhouse, Brighton Open Air and The Bombed Out Church Liverpool. With TV credits including: Apple TVs ‘Still Up’ and ITVs ‘Professor T’. I was a National Youth Theatre member and recipient of a Herald Angel Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I’ve also completed an accredited training program with The London Meisner Company. I’m DBS checked with 5+ years pastoral experience in schools. My coaching focuses on building your confidence and deepening your trust in your natural instincts and impulses. By understanding the scene and emotional circumstances of our character we can stay present in the moment. This approach fosters authenticity, and when we act from a place of presence and playfulness, we leave auditions and send off self-tapes feeling more empowered and at ease. I’m a passionate and experienced acting coach dedicated to helping my students perform at their best. Whether you're preparing for youth theatre or drama school and need to refine your audition pieces, require a committed coach and reader for a self-tape, or simply want to strengthen your acting skills working on scripts you or I have chosen for you, I can support your journey. I believe the most challenging aspect of acting is embracing simplicity. By fully understanding the scene and your character's emotional circumstance, you can let go of self-consciousness and truly enjoy acting in the moment—trusting your instincts and impulses. My role is to help build your confidence so you can stay present and connected to the scene, moment by moment. I offer coaching both online and in-person within 20km of Ramsgate, either at your location or a public spot of your choice.
