• Improvisation: Developing spontaneity and creativity through unscripted performance.
• Character Analysis and Embodiment: Exploring and fully inhabiting characters to bring them to life on stage or screen.
Session Structure
While each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, a typical session may include:
1. Warm-Up Exercises: To relax, focus, and prepare mentally and physically for the work ahead.
2. Skill Development: Focused practice on specific areas such as voice, movement, or sight reading.
3. Practical Application: Working on monologues, scenes, improvisation, or audition pieces.
4. Feedback and Reflection: Constructive feedback to identify strengths and areas for growth.
5. Goal Setting: Planning next steps to ensure steady progress.

Helena has been amazing! She has helped me immensely with my auditions and casting opportunities! She’s incredibly knowledgeable regarding audition advice, and has also been amazing with helping me with script analysis! The best acting coach!
I had a mixture of Zoom and in-person coaching with Helena specifically for audition technique for drama school. We worked on the interpretation of my chosen monologues, my vocal clarity, confidence development and stage presence. Knowing the requirements of the audition process, Helena prepared me accordingly. I enjoyed working with her; she's a positive character and helped me successfully secure my place in Drama School.
Helena’s experience and skill, paired with her passion, patience and enthusiasm for teaching make her the perfect tutor for our girl. Highly recommended.
