About Lauren
I am a trained actor with an Advance Diploma in acting for film. I trained for 2 years at ACT Cape Town Film Academy where we learnt theories of acting by Meisner, Stella Adler, Stanislavski and more. We also worked on set, getting the practical hands-on experience, did improvisation, theatre, dance, yoga as well as learning the various rules of the industry and what it means to truly be an actor

My teaching method is creativity. For me, learning from a book or text always seemed tedious and somehow, would never "go into my brain." I teach with a fun, hands-on experience, helping people study by movement, colors, shapes, and association. My teaching methods are great for kids with ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, and other learning challenges.
