I had Tamara as my teacher while studying graphic design at Pittsburgh Technical College. She was a great teacher who helped me develop my ideas and turn them into creative, unique designs. I really appreciated how she helped me think outside the box and bring my vision to life. Her guidance and knowledge made a positive impact on my experience as a graphic design student. I would highly recommend Tamara to anyone looking to learn, grow their creative skills, and bring their ideas to life!

Tamara played a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of my career. As I worked through my last few years of graduating college to landing my first job, her guidance was instrumental — and the impact of her mentorship continues to resonate today as a Principal Designer at a major tech company.

What sets Tamara apart is her genuine investment in her students. She doesn't just teach — she provides hands-on coaching, helps students seek out opportunities, and goes above and beyond to champion their growth. She is supportive, personable, and deeply committed to seeing her students succeed in every way she can.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Tamara to anyone looking for a mentor and educator who truly cares about her students' futures.

Tamara was the Sr. Academic Chair of my major during my time at the Art Institute. Not only was she there to bridge the gap between the staff and admin, but she was also there for the students. She was always willing to listen and was diplomatic about decisions.

I studied under Tamara during my time at the Art Institute, where she led as Academic Director. She had a genuine passion for design education, and the program felt purposeful and well-directed. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and committed tutor.

Tamara was my college advisor and mentor. Because I worked full-time to pay for college and was unable to take a traditional internship, Tamara worked with me and my schedule and offered me the opportunity to work on her website for my internship requirements. She helped me navigate my course load, reviewed my portfolio, and helped me secure a position in the design studio course (reserved for only a handful of top performing students every year). I now have over 10 years experience
in design, art direction, and advertising. I have won a National Addy Award and an Emmy - made possible by Tamara’s guidance and mentorship during my college years.

Tamara and I have been friends for more than two decades. We worked together at a post-secondary school as teachers. She advanced her career as an academic advisor and then as Assistant Dean of Education, while still maintaining a presence in the classroom. She is a most competent instructor, primarily because of her attention to detail and the comprehensive feedback she provides to her students. I can highly recommend Tamara for any position that involves teaching, instruction, or tutoring.

I was a student in Tamara's class at RMU. She taught me how to break out of my creative box. She is an excellent teacher who listens and guides well.

I was a student of Tamara Pavlock's while attending Pittsburgh Technical College for Graphic Design, 2018-20. During my time under her instruction, I felt that she maintained a critical eye while balancing endearing articulation. She was altogether classy and knowledgeable about corporate expectations. Not only was she intelligent, she was compassionate. I found that she made a remarkable impact on my life, even to this day.

Tamara is a great teacher! I met her through a different platform and loved her. Not only is she super nice, but she is very experienced and makes it fun and easy to learn.

Tamara is very detail-oriented and organized. She is by far one of the best instructors I had while pursuing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Graphic Design. Her ability to provide meaningful guidance and purposeful leadership strengthen the learning purpose. I highly recommend Tamara for any mentorship or educational role.
