About Silvia
Hi! I'm Silvia! I’m passionate about helping children learn Mandarin in a fun, engaging, and effective way. With a degree in Advanced Chinese Language from Xiamen University and experience teaching young learners, I know how to make Mandarin both enjoyable and accessible. My lessons focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, through interactive methods like books, stories, and games like flashcards, etc. Whether your child is a beginner or already has some experience with Mandarin, I tailor each lesson to their unique needs, ensuring they stay motivated and excited to learn. I take pride in creating a supportive, encouraging environment where kids feel comfortable practicing and making progress at their own pace. If you’re looking for a patient, friendly, and professional Mandarin tutor, you’ve come to the right place. I’d love to help your child on their language journey!

I believe learning Mandarin should be fun and engaging, especially for kids! My lessons are interactive, using books, games like flashcards, and storytelling to help children pick up the language naturally. I focus on building confidence in speaking and listening, while also introducing reading and writing in a simple, enjoyable way. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their needs. Younger kids love hands-on activities like flashcards and role-playing, while older children benefit from structured lessons with practical vocabulary and sentence-building exercises. Lesson Details Lesson Duration: 1 hour-2 hour For Kids Aged 4-12 (Beginners & Intermediate learners) Private & Small Group Lessons (Online or In-Person in Sydney) About Me I graduated from Xiamen University with an Advanced Chinese Language degree.
