ADVANCED LEADERSHIP COACHING, INCLUDING MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKING, INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION DEVELOPMENT. BRISTOL AND MANCHESTER BASED JULIA MCDADE. LLAM (Dip), Superprof Ambassador. 5 star review

I have been taught public speaking by Julia McDade for the last two years, and she has been incredibly perceptive, supportive and insightful on my journey towards. Not only is she extremely capable and knowledgeable, but each lesson is an enjoyable and invigorating learning experience, which I’ve always found a pleasure to attend. I would highly recommend her to any prospective public speaking students.

I had to write and deliver a father of the bride speech. Having not done any real public speaking before this did fill me with dread but I was determined to get through this and make my daughter proud.
Although Julia helped me in structuring the speech, she didnt take away the things that i wanted to say but added to them and made sure it flowed naturally .
We worked on the techniques for the all important delivery and instilled the confidence in me to go outthere and "perform."
On the day I was able to control the nerves as I was prepared and confident.
The speech went well and I received some incredible feedback.
I couldn't have delivered this without Julia's expert guidance. Thanks Julia.

Julia is an excellent drama coach and is especially talented at bringing shy students out of their shell, weather on their own or in a group!

I've had a very positive experience working with Julia. She offered clear explanations and actionable advice that genuinely enhanced my public speaking. Her thoughtful and practical approach made every session productive, leading to noticeable improvements in my skills.

Thoughout my time working with Julia, I have learned so much about myself both as a performer and as a person. She fosters such a comforting and non-judgemental environment which makes me feel like I can truly explore my characters and performances. She is an incredible teacher and I would highly recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to be taught by her, should do so.

My son has been taking lessons with Julia to improve his conversation skills and grammar, and the progress has been amazing. Julia makes every session practical and engaging. The lessons are always well-prepared and tailored to my son’s school lessons . Highly recommend Julia!

Julia is a highly successful Lamda practitioner. Her teaching and theatrical knowledge are very much appreciated by her students. As her colleague I can recommend her as an experienced tutor.

Julia knows theatre - and what makes good theatre - through and through, and she is a wonderful teacher, immensely experienced in helping her drama students be the best they can be. She has built a lovely, supportive rapport with my daughter, and she gave her excellent feedback and exerted just the right amount of friendly pressure to reach the highest standard in her latest LAMDA examination. She is very kind and generous with my daughter and has given her valuable support with different challenges that have come up at school. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I have been having voice coaching with Julia McDade for a couple of months. The trigger for starting the sessions was to help my nerves in reading the eulogy at my father’s funeral. I wanted to sound confident, clear and fluent.
This was achieved and more - I felt calmer speaking than ever before and my family told me they were proud of me.
I have continued with the sessions because of the ongoing benefit I can hear in my speech and confidence - people never now need to ask me to repeat things.
I would recommend Julia wholeheartedly for anyone who ever has to speak in any situation, public or not.

Julia is a fantastic voice coach who put me at complete ease. I had to give a work speech and it transformed my vocal skills.

Julia has helped me massively with my wedding speech. from critiquing and editing my wedding speech with me, to helping me with my presentational skills. Examples including speaking clearly with pauses, also thinking about lowering and raising my pitch. I am infinitely more confident about doing my wedding speech now, thanks to Julia and her public speaking lessons! :)
