About Dharsha
Hi, I’m Dharsha! I’m a university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree and personal experience successfully preparing for the IELTS exam.
Having prepared for IELTS myself, I understand how challenging the exam can feel and how important it is to have someone explain the strategies in a simple and practical way. I’m patient, friendly and genuinely enjoy helping others learn.
My lessons are relaxed but focused, with plenty of practice, individual feedback and encouragement. Whether you are taking IELTS for immigration, work or further studies, I’ll help you understand the exam format, recognize your weaker areas and practice towards your target score.
I believe good IELTS preparation doesn’t have to be expensive, which is why I’m starting with an affordable rate while building my tutoring community in Calgary.

My IELTS lessons are practical, supportive and focused on helping you understand exactly what the exam expects. I teach both Academic and General Training IELTS, covering Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
During our lessons, we will practise real IELTS-style questions, learn useful exam strategies, work on time management, and identify the areas where you need the most improvement. For Writing, I will help you understand how to structure your answers and develop your ideas clearly. For Speaking, we can practise through mock speaking sessions to help you become more confident and natural.
Lessons are suitable for beginners, repeat test-takers, and anyone preparing for an upcoming IELTS exam. I keep my classes affordable at $15 per hour because I want students to have enough practice time without worrying about expensive tutoring fees.
My goal is simple: to make IELTS easier to understand, give you plenty of practice, and help you walk into your exam feeling prepared and confident.
