About Riti
Hi! I’m Riti, and I’ve just finished my GCSEs in 2025, and my goal is to help you receive the best possible GCSE grade in Biology and Maths, where you can attain 8s and 9s. I’ve always enjoyed explaining things to friends in a clear, simple way — especially when teachers made concepts seem more confusing than they needed to be. That’s a big part of why I want to tutor: I love the idea of helping others feel more confident in subjects that might seem overwhelming, as I know what it’s like to be stuck or unsure. I want to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and can actually understand the content, which will inevitably improve their grades by transforming any weaknesses into strengths.

My approach to tutoring Edexcel GCSE Biology and Maths is friendly, flexible, and focused on building confidence. I explain topics clearly and simply, at a pace that suits the student. I will also provide efficient yet effective revision techniques to help the student achieve their highest potential. Biology often involves complex processes and abstract concepts, so I use diagrams, real-life examples, and exam-style questions to help students visualise and apply what they’re learning, turning their weaknesses into strengths. We will also go through past papers together, to familiarise them with the exam format and to gain further practice. In Maths, we start with simple examples and build up gradually — I believe practice is key, so we work through questions together with step-by-step guidance, eventually increasing to full past papers together. Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I’m happy to adjust based on age or focus level. I’ve just completed my GCSEs in 2025, and have consistently achieved grade 8s and 9s, especially in Biology and Maths. Since the content is fresh for me, I can explain it in a relatable, student-friendly way — especially as I’ve just been through the same experience. I’ve supported classmates and younger students informally, and I always aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment.
