About Ishaan
I’m a dedicated math tutor with 3+ years of experience helping students succeed in both school math and competitions. I know that math can feel frustrating at times, so I teach in a way that makes it fun, engaging, and easy to understand for anyone. As an AIME qualifier and multiple-time math competition champion, I’ve solved challenging problems firsthand and know what it takes to improve. I’ve also taken undergraduate-level math courses like Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, and Number Theory, which have given me an understanding of advanced topics over the years. I have 5+ years of experience tutoring competitive math and coding, and I teach math in a way that makes it fun and approachable for anyone. My goal is to help students build confidence and actually enjoy problem-solving, whether they’re tackling schoolwork or preparing for competitions.
I design lessons based on each student’s needs, starting with a quick review of key topics, and then going into interactive problem-solving. I can help with regular school math classes, FAMAT competitions, and the American Math Competitions (AMC) by teaching problem-solving strategies that make even the hardest questions feel doable.

I’m an AIME qualifier and a multi-time math competition champion, and I’ve taken undergraduate-level math courses like Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, and Number Theory. I understand both the school curriculum and advanced competition math, so I can guide students at any level.
