About Jess

As a Grade 4/5 French teacher with a degree in French and bilingual fluency, I bring experience to each lesson. As a recent student myself, I understand the challenges that can come with learning and strive to create a positive, judgment-free space for students to grow. My flexible teaching style ensures that each session is tailored to your needs, whether you're seeking homework help, preparing for exams, or looking to improve your French skills. I’m here to help you succeed in a fun and supportive way! I love to play Volleyball and enjoy the sunshine :)

About the lesson

As a current Grade 4/5 French teacher, I tailor lessons to each student’s needs using interactive, engaging activities that build confidence and fluency. My approach blends conversation, vocabulary, and grammar in a fun, structured way. Lessons are open to all students, DELF prep, homework help, summer review, etc.

I'm flexible and laid-back in my teaching style, and always happy to adapt each session to your specific goals. I understand tutoring can feel intimidating — this is a judgment-free space, and I’d love to help you feel confident and supported in your French learning!

Jess is fully bilingual and fluent in both French and English. Having grown up in a French speaking home, she was able to master the French language naturally and continues to be able to practice it with her French speaking family, as well as teaching it daily as a French teacher. I myself grew up in an English only household and never much enjoyed French, but since meeting Jess she has been teaching me French and it has been both effective and fun. I’d recommend her as a tutor since she is patient, understanding, and is a pro at the French Language. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a tutor!
