About Alli
I have been offering English classes / lessons personally since I arrived in Rio, and have been working professional with a company since January 2017. The majority of my students have had poor experiences with large companies and reached out to me for a personalized, one- On-one learning experience. Most of my students are interested in their English comprehension and speaking levels in an effort to use English on a more regular basis; Whether this be professionally or personally. English is the worlds universal language :)

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by :) I have a strong love for language and expression, passion for writing and have spent years studying the English language! I earned a degree in journalism and mass communication with an emphasis in strategic communication from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I studied at PUC and learned the hard way that learning a new language is one of the most challenging tasks an individual can take on. From this, stemmed my desire to help others to understand their learning style and individual needs to accomplish their personal language goals. Allison is a very qualified teacher, apart from being a native speaker of American English, Alli holds a degree in journalism and has good communication skills. Perfect! Allison is a great teacher that knows perfectly how to improve the english level of everybody. During the time I have been taking english lessons with her I´ve realized that my skills to express myself in english have progressed a lot. Every lesson has been supported by didactic material as podcasts that prevously I have listened or press news that I have been asked to read before lesson before so her teaching method has made the most of my time and money. She is very nice and sociable so it is very easy to just chat and get deep in a everyday conversation and forget about the time. In conclussion, I highly recommend Allison as english teacher. Totally worthy.
- Alvaro is a highly intelligent individual who has been a complete pleasure to work with. I genuinely look forward each class with him as we normally indulge in conversation and course work that has strong real world ties and we are able to discuss complex concepts at a 'bigger picture' level.
