About Johanna
I am a yoga instructor specializing in Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative practices. My journey began in Bali, Indonesia, where I completed my 200-hour training on the serene island of Nusa Lembongan. Rooted in traditional practice yet guided by intuition, my teaching blends mindful movement, breath, and the natural rhythms of the earth. I am deeply passionate about creating transformative yoga retreats that connect students to nature, community, and their inner wisdom. My work also extends to yoga for migraines, where I guide students to find relief and balance through gentle, intentional practice. Influenced by the moon, seasons, and cosmic cycles, I invite others to align body, mind, and spirit with the greater flow of the universe.

As a Yoga for Migraines coach, My practice continues to evolve under the guidance of my mentor Gwen Ferreira, whose Ashtanga teachings have deeply shaped both my discipline and devotion. I’m inspired by the wisdom of Gregor Maehle and B.K.S. Iyengar, whose writings remind me that yoga is both a science of the body and a language of the soul.
As a plant-based practitioner, I draw endless influence from the earth herself — her quiet intelligence, her cycles, her compassion. My classes often flow with the rhythm of moon phases, zodiac seasons, and universal laws, reflecting how nature and the cosmos mirror our own inner landscapes. Whether exploring anatomy or energy, I aim to guide students toward a deeper harmony between self, spirit, and the living world.
