About Izzy
I’ve been an artist my whole life. I specialize in anime, semi-realism and anything mixed media! I didn’t grow up with a lot of money so all my family could afford was a pencil, paper and my passion sparked immediately for any form of art! I’ve taken every art course provided for me including 2 years of AP art and an early college program at SAIC. I also have been making and publishing comics for the past 5/6 years. Read my comic “StarLight” by The_Shadowist on Webtoon! I’ve been in art compositions and even sold some of my paintings. (WHAT AN HONOR!!) Additionally, I am adult and child CPR certified in case of any emergency and in the process of getting my certificate to work in a daycare! I also mess around on my YouTube page doing various art challenges and speed paints. Along with being the Co-Editor for my brother’s channel ApolloDragoon on YouTube and Twitch!

Each lesson will be tailored specifically for the student based off of their abilities. I already have two curriculums made and a step-by-step process ready if you’re looking to learn the basics. Or maybe you already know the basics and you just want to improve, I can do that too! I’ll assess where the student level is currently at and give them a completely unique tailored class to them only! Aaaand as a little thank you, the whole first hour of your first lesson is completely FREE! I completely understand that inflation is making things harder on everyone so I really appreciate that you’re even considering me. I will not criticize your work because I don’t like it, I will only critique your art to improve your already beautiful masterpiece and for the student to leave each lesson more creative than before. Get outside of your head and experiment with everything and anything! That’s what art is all about, to express yourself however you see fit! There are no rules to art.

Perfect! I contacted Izzy because my 10-year-old son has shown a lot of interest in drawing people/anime. He had never had any other formal training and I couldn’t find anything in our area that matched his interests or skill level. He has learned so much in such a small amount of time with Izzy. His goal is to draw the perfect face and each week he comes home with a better understanding of how to do that. It has been awesome to see his progress. He looks forward to his sessions every week because Izzy makes it fun for him and keeps it at his level. I cannot recommend her enough!
- Noah was very willing and open to learning new techniques and stepping out of his comfort zone! He has a good understanding of the fundamentals and just needs to hone in on his craft. He said he’d like to draw movement/action in a comic style so I would recommend his homework is to practice drawing shapes using perspective on the horizon line we talked about earlier. Have him fill a page drawing 5-7 different sized rectangles and at different angles with proper lighting and shading!Izzy's response :

She's a good teacher,now I can draw better
Izzy was an amazing art teacher! My kids were having so much fun during her lessons and they were being more creative!! I absolutely recommend her to anyone with children.

My prices are based off of my years of experience taking multiple classes. I also charge extra for a transportation fee because if we are working on a big canvas it is difficult to travel with it. However please feel free to contact me at any point, I am very flexible!
