About Twisha
Hi, I’m Twisha Ajmani. I’m from India and I’ve come to the University of Manchester to study Psychology, which is something I’m deeply passionate about. A little about me: I love reading books — mainly fiction, modern literature, and fantasy — and I’m a big music enthusiast. I’m also a proud cat lover!
In terms of my academic background, I achieved 86% overall in my Psychology A-Levels, where I studied Health and Organisational Psychology. I also have experience tutoring junior students in Psychology during A2, so I know how to explain concepts clearly and help students build confidence in the subject.
I’m approachable, reliable, and professional, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. Whether you’re an A-Level student or someone simply curious about psychology, my lessons are designed to help you understand the subject, enjoy learning, and feel confident in your abilities.

My approach to tutoring is pretty relaxed and student-focused. I aim to make psychology easy to understand, especially the basics, because once you get the foundations right, everything else starts to click. I explain concepts in simple terms, use real-life examples, and always encourage questions so lessons feel comfortable and interactive rather than stressful.
Lessons are usually one hour long. Depending on what the student needs, we can go over content, clear up confusing topics, revise for exams, or practise exam-style questions. I’m flexible and adapt each session to the student’s pace and goals.
I’m a first-year Psychology student at the University of Manchester and achieved 86% overall in Psychology A-Levels, where I studied Health and Organisational Psychology. I also tutored some junior students in Psychology during my A2 year, which helped me learn how to explain ideas clearly and break things down in a way that actually makes sense.
My lessons are for A-Level psychology students or anyone who just wants to learn psychology. Whether you’re struggling with the basics or just want extra support, my goal is to help you understand the subject better and feel more confident with it.
