About Deanna
I am a first-year Architectural Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University. As someone who recently went through the application process for TMU Architectural Science and Interior Design, Carleton Architectural Studies, and University of Guelph Landscape Architecture, and who was accepted into all the programs, I believe I bring a fresh perspective and view to help a student put their best work forward for these highly competitive programs. It is already stressful to worry about grades, so I hope to aid students with confidence in their application portfolios!

Creating a portfolio for programs such as architecture can be a stressful and frustrating task! Architecture is a very small and competitive pool, so creating the best portfolio you can is incredibly important.
As someone who has been in this situation before, I want to offer students mentorship on how to build a diverse, appealing portfolio for the competitive post-secondary architecture programs in Ontario.
This mentorship includes helping the student create concepts for pieces, training them to be attentive to detail, helping them assemble strong meaning and explanation for pieces, assisting them in taking photos and arranging their portfolio in a slide deck format, and mock interviews for their portfolio.
