About Holly

JavaScript, APIs, backend basics, Java, and object-oriented programming form the core of my technical stack. Having spent 9 years in professional web development, I focus on competitive programming and complex debugging techniques for girls in coding. Teaching these systems is genuinely fun because I enjoy watching concepts click into place for someone else.

About the lesson

I start by running a diagnostic coding assessment to identify exactly where you are. This initial evaluation ensures we build on your current foundation rather than repeating things you already know.

My approach mirrors the real work I do after 9 years in the industry. We iterate on code until it works exactly as intended. I find it satisfying to observe students transform buggy scripts into clean, functional applications. It is quite simple to get started whenever you feel prepared to write.
