About Meredith
Meredith brings real enthusiasm to the classroom, grounded in years of turning complex, fast-moving areas of law into engaging learning for her students.
From 2016 to 2021 she designed and taught subjects in cyber law, AI and the law, and surveillance and privacy at La Trobe Law School and RMIT's Graduate School of Business & Law, at both undergraduate and Master's level. She built these courses herself, which gave her the chance to bring students into the questions she finds most compelling, such as how the law keeps pace with technology.
Her commitment to teaching well led her to complete a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education at La Trobe in 2019. That foundation rests on a Master of Laws in International Security from the Australian National University, and she keeps it fresh through ongoing research fellowships at RMIT and the Australian-Lithuanian Hybrid Threat Centre.
For Meredith, teaching is where her research comes alive, and helping students connect legal principles to real-world security challenges is among the most rewarding parts of her career.
