About Alyssa
As a French citizen, Canadian raised, I have experience with European French, Canadian French, and the nuances between each.
Currently working in the design field, this experience improves the quality of my lessons to be custom designed to fit each of my clients.
I pursue tutoring as a side hustle, with a passion for the beautiful language and a desire for each individual I work with to thrive. In my experience, everyone has their own reasons for learning French and each student's lessons should be catered to their goals.

My methodologies are inspired by traditional French education, which I have first hand experience in. I incorporate modern methods so each lesson is more dynamic and personalized.
After an initial assessment, I adapt my lessons to your aspirations and needs (writing, vocabulary, grammar, speech, expressions & humour etc.) The cultural nuances of a language are just as important as the technical training, this is a belief I emphasize through a combination of exercised practice and colloquial learning. We will work together to reach short term checkpoints and a final long term goal.
