About Stella
Hi, I’m Stella! I’m a former art student at Harper College and Northern Illinois University with 6 years of freelance illustration experience.
My work has been featured in the Harper Student Art Exhibition (2022) where I received the President’s Art Selection Award. I was also honored with NIU’s “Super Dog” Art Award for academic excellence in my major.
Although I primarily work in digital illustration, I’m also available to tutor for traditional media including pencil, ink, charcoal, pastels, and acrylic painting.
My lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s goals, whether you’re building foundational skills, refining technique, or exploring a new medium. I teach all ages and focus on helping students understand form, light, composition, and visual storytelling so they can grow with confidence.

We’ll start with the basics, and work our way to the skills you’ll need to turn your ideas into life. I’ve worked with many art mediums including: pencil, charcoal, oil/dry pastels, oil/acrylic paint, and multiple industry-standard digital programs.
