About Felix
Hello! I am an enthusiastic philosophy student, going into my second year of studies at the university of Bristol. I have been interested in philosophy from a very young age, having joined the philosophy club in year 7 and have since been working hard to achieve outstanding accolades at every level of study. My passion for philosophy makes every conversation about philosophy enjoyable, so I look forward to discussing the complexities of philosophy with you!

I am a strong believer that open discussions and Socratic questioning are the key to reaching a high level of understanding in philosophy. Thus, once the student has understood the argument to the point they can reformulate it, the rest of the lesson is spent analysing why someone may disagree with the argument. This not only gives them content for an essay but reveals where they may have misunderstood the original argument. I will then set a small essay based on the ideas we have discussed, which will reinforce what has been learnt and help
the student develop their essay skills.
This style of learning has helped me excel throughout my ongoing studies of philosophy to achieve:
- Award for outstanding academic achievement in philosophy (University of Bristol)
- A* in philosophy A level
- Subject award for A level philosophy (Colfe's school, London)-
- 9 (A**) in religion and philosophy GCSE
- Subject award in religion and philosophy (Colfe's school, London)
Lessons can last for any time that the student feels necessary, but generally expect between 30-60 minutes.
