About Big
Hello! I'm Martin, an award-winning math educator with nearly a decade of experience helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Throughout my teaching career, I've worked with learners of all ability levels and was honored to be recognized as Teacher of the Year for creating an engaging, supportive classroom where students felt challenged and encouraged.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing the moment when something finally "clicks." I believe every student is capable of succeeding when concepts are explained in a way that matches how they learn. My lessons focus on understanding rather than memorization, helping students become confident, independent problem solvers.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy designing hands-on STEM projects that connect mathematics with engineering, architecture, and real-world problem solving. I'm currently building Future Builder Academy, where students explore math through exciting design challenges like creating tiny houses and solving authentic engineering problems.
Whether you're preparing for an important exam, catching up in class, or looking to excel beyond grade level, I'd be honored to help you reach your goals. I look forward to working with you!

Math doesn't have to be frustrating. My goal is to help every student build confidence by truly understanding concepts instead of simply memorizing procedures.
As an award-winning high school math teacher with nearly a decade of classroom experience, I've helped students of all ability levels succeed in Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, ACT Math, and standardized test preparation. Whether you're catching up, preparing for an important exam, or striving for top grades, I personalize every lesson to match your learning style and goals.
I believe students learn best when they are actively solving problems, asking questions, and making real-world connections. My lessons are engaging, encouraging, and interactive, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them.
I also offer project-based STEM lessons that connect mathematics with engineering, architecture, and design, helping students discover that math is a powerful tool for solving real problems.
Whether you need ongoing tutoring, homework support, ACT preparation, or enrichment, I'm committed to helping you gain confidence, improve your grades, and develop skills that will last far beyond the classroom. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
