About Naledi
Hello! I’m Naledi — a vocalist, songwriter, and teaching artist originally from South Africa. I work with singers of all levels who want to develop strong technique, artistic confidence, and a deeper connection to their voice.
As a professional performer, I’ve appeared on major stages around the world, including Madison Square Garden, and collaborated with artists such as Hans Zimmer. Alongside performing, teaching has always been a central part of my work and something I care deeply about.
I’m a graduate of New England Conservatory, and through performances, residencies, and educational programs, I’ve worked with over 20,000 students across the United States. I’ve also helped develop music curriculum for programs such as Carnegie Hall’s Musical Explorers, introducing students to music, storytelling, and culture from around the world.
My lessons are supportive, collaborative, and tailored to each student’s goals — whether you’re preparing for auditions, building confidence, exploring songwriting, or simply looking to grow as a vocalist and artist.
I specialize in jazz, contemporary voice, and improvisation, and my teaching draws from a wide range of influences including the rich musical traditions of South Africa.
Alongside teaching, I continue to perform internationally as a touring vocalist.

Perfect! This was my first voice lesson ever. I had a lot of fun with Naledi. It was a very encouraging experience. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn I can likely sing in the range of soprano. Naledi is a great teacher I found here on Superprof! As an adult student who has never taken vocal lessons before, her patience really helped me to learn. She also has a great understanding of techniques and approaches to what I find challenging in singing.
We have a wonderful teacher as well. Naledi is lovely and she does both private voice and piano lessons. She’s great with my 9 year old daughter who is a tough cookie. I couldn’t recommend Naledi more.
As an adult who just wanted to try out singing lessons for fun, I found Naledi since her profile showed that she was really talented and classically trained but also like R&B music that I wanted to learn. I was able to do online lessons with her that got me more comfortable with singing (it can be scary to do in front of a person) and also choose songs that I personally enjoyed.
