About Kavya
I am a Forensic Science student, studying at Western Sydney University. I am also a professional chocolate enthusiast and BTS lover! I am currently starting my third year of uni! I have previously tutored students in HSC Biology for about a year. I like to say that they really enjoyed my style of learning and was to do really well in their exams. I don't want to teach textbook style but actually engage my students into discussion about the interesting aspects of biology. I know people hate biology because its so boring :( But biology can be just as interesting as chemistry and physics if you keep an open mind.

I base my lessons based on what happened in class as well as topic order. I start my lessons by giving you the big picture idea of the topic so that you understand the general concept behind a topic. Then we will start to go deeper and learn to connect those small details to main idea. Everything in Biology is connected. One process leads to another. If we lay out the foundations of the topic, we can build on top of it. My lessons will involve a lot of diagrams, questions for discussions, and an end of lesson quiz to keep the content fresh in your head.

Details
My travel rate changes depending on whether is peak time or not. Usually during peak hours its $6-8 if for example I travel from Riverwood to Richmond. Normal time is around $5-6 if I travel from Riverwood to Wynard. I won't be travelling too far for lessons. Mainly to places that will take me less than two hours to travel because I can't drive so I use trains and buses.
