About JAYKRITIN
Hi, I’m Jaykritin Thirupathiswamy Ramesh!
I am a Master of Information Technology student at RMIT University specializing in Cloud Computing, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering. With over 2 years of professional engineering experience at industry-leading companies like Tata Elxsi and LG Soft India, I bring practical, real-world context into the classroom.
My background spans software testing, system design, cybersecurity principles, and cloud infrastructure. Rather than focusing solely on memorizing code or syntax, my teaching centers on how modern digital systems actually function under the hood—from core networking protocols and data flow to cloud architectures and cryptographic principles. Whether you are navigating high school Computer Science concepts, tackling university-level coursework, or trying to grasp complex networks and infrastructure, my goal is to break down dense theoretical ideas into intuitive, logical frameworks that make sense.
Why Study With Me?
Strong Academic & Technical Foundation: Master’s candidate at RMIT with a solid CS background and ongoing preparation for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect exam.
Real-Industry Experience: Experience testing and validating large-scale digital platforms, embedded automotive cybersecurity, and software infrastructure.
Systems-First Mentorship: Clear, step-by-step guidance tailored to demystify computer networks, security principles, and system design without getting bogged down in unnecessary code.
Structured & Patient Approach: Dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, analyzing scenarios, and mastering foundational principles.

1. Teaching Methodology
Interactive Simulations & Diagrams: Use visual tools (like Wireshark or packet tracers) to let students see data traveling through network nodes or watch encryption keys scramble text in real time.
Analogy-First Concepts: Explain abstract rules with physical setups—e.g., teaching routing via post office sorting centers, or public/private key encryption using a lockable mail slot and a master key.
Socratic Problem Solving: Walk through real-world scenarios ("How does your browser safely load a bank website?") and let students reason through the steps before introducing formal definitions.
2. Typical Lesson Length
Standard Class: 60 minutes (10 mins recap/warm-up, 20 mins conceptual deep-dive, 25 mins interactive analysis or simulation, 5 mins recap).
Extended Workshop: 90 minutes (ideal for multi-step labs like configuring a virtual network topology or analyzing network traffic).
3. Qualifications & Experience Baseline
Core Background: Computer Science / Cybersecurity / Information Technology fundamentals.
Technical Domains: Computer Networking (TCP/IP stack, DNS, HTTP/S, OSI model), Cryptography (Symmetric/Asymmetric encryption, Hashing, Public Key Infrastructure), and Core Systems Design.
Teaching Expertise: Skilled at turning heavy theory into clear, digestible mental models without requiring code writing.
4. Target Audience & Topics
High School Students (Ages 14–18): How the internet works, cybersecurity basics, privacy principles, and AP/A-Level CS theory.
University Students & Beginners: Deep dives into OSI layers, routing algorithms, cryptographic protocols (TLS/SSL, RSA, AES), and system principles.
Tech Professionals & Career Switchers: Conceptual understanding of networking protocols, cloud security concepts, and architecture principles for non-developer roles.
