About Carley
Much of my day to day work is in communications and supporting others to achieve a goal. I will bring this energy to every tutoring session. A huge part of my outlook on supporting others is to bring empathy to the table, it establishes trust which is vital to creating a successful learning environment.
I have worked as a writing coach in the past in college and grad school, providing support to students in writing papers, preparing presentations, and developing ideas from research. All of which I regularly do now in my day job.
The past few years I have spent plenty of time working peers in on their resumes and cover letters.

My teaching method techniques are based on your needs. I will ask you questions based on your interests and goals, have you fill out a survey like questionnaire to understand your capabilities and challenges.
A typical lesson plan depends on what I am teaching and the level I am working with... but it will always involve time for questions to support you in that moment, and then to help you continue developing after our session.
