About Marco
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and have extensive experience in education and research. I’ve worked as a teacher in Argentina, managing programs that supported diverse learners and fostered academic success. My background also includes coordinating university scholarship and tutoring programs, which enhanced my ability to adapt to individual learning styles. Beyond my professional background, I’ve had the personal experience of moving to new countries and learning new languages, including Italian during my time in Italy and English when I relocated to Australia. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation of the challenges and rewards of language learning. They also help me empathize with my students and create strategies that make the process more accessible and enjoyable.

My Approach to Tutoring Spanish Online My teaching methodology is based on understanding the unique needs and goals of each student. I use a communicative approach to focus on practical language use, helping students develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in real-life contexts. To keep lessons engaging, I incorporate: Interactive activities: Conversations, role-plays, and games. Cultural immersion: Exploring Spanish-speaking cultures through articles, videos, music, and traditions. Grammar in context: Teaching grammar as it naturally appears in conversations or texts, rather than in isolation. Student-centered learning: Adapting lessons to each student's pace, interests, and goals. For beginners, I emphasize foundational vocabulary and sentence structure. For intermediate and advanced learners, I focus on refining fluency, expanding vocabulary, and understanding idiomatic expressions.
