"My credentials include a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies from the Queensland Conservatorium, which informs the structured perspective I bring to string instruction. Working with 282 students has allowed me to refine a methodical approach to teaching posture and hold, grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity, and the complexities of sight reading.
Because I prioritize clear communication, I ensure that lessons on rhythm, timing, and classical repertoire remain accessible while we tackle advanced techniques such as double stops. You will receive consistent guidance as we work toward your specific musical goals and technical milestones. "Slumping posture or uneven bowing often causes tension that prevents clear, resonant sound. I provide free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to keep your technique consistent between our meetings. We dedicate time to music theory and rhythmic precision to ensure your foundation is rock solid. Focus is key.
